On the glowing recommendation of a few local ex-pats, I tried out La Bicicleta Verde. It definitely lived up to the reputation. I took the 7PM night tour, which weaves up through wealthy Las Condes into beautiful, residential Vitacura and back into Santiago through the parks along the river. Así es, uno de los míticos sueños urbanos de la capital de Chile se ha hecho realidad... el río que inspiró la fundación de Santiago alla por 1541, es ahora navegable.
