Websense Predicts 2008’s Top Ten Security Threats

En este comunicado de prensa emitido hoy 12 de diciembre por la empresa de seguridad Websense, Inc. (NASDAQ:WBSN), específicamente el Websense® Security Labs™, se detallan las 10 peores amenazas previstas para 2008.

Al respecto, el sitio argentino Infobae.com publica la siguiente nota en castellano en Las 10 amenazas informáticas que dominarán el 2008:

Una empresa de seguridad elaboró una lista con los problemas más frecuentes con los que deberán lidiar los usuarios de internet y telefonía celular. Redes sociales, computadoras Mac y móviles, entre los perjudicados.

Activists Protect Themselves with Twitter

Twitter is a multi-platform service that allows users to send "updates" (text-based posts, up to 140 characters long) via SMS (text message), instant messaging, and email. In its most common application, people send Twitter messages via SMS telling what they are doing at that very moment ("eating breakfast," "lots of traffic this morning," "lunch break").  Then people who have subscribed to that feed can then read these messages as they are sent out, allowing them to know what their friend is doing.
