Some of us could see it coming. Due to hurricane Irene both
New York Yankees vs. the Orioles in Baltimore
and the Mets vs. the Atlanta Braves games were cancelled. Even tough the New
York Yankees vs. the Orioles in Baltimore
game had already been scheduled for Saturday, the Yankee Stadium was announced
to be closed. The second one was meant to be on Saturday and Sunday but it was
re-scheduled for September 8th.
Also some other Major League Baseball games were postponed.
