Honesty 2.0 - Help me define it

If you are asked the quick question: "Are people generally honest"?, you would probably either reply yes or know really lousy people.

Or... you have just spent a couple of minutes thinking about it and your answer is NO despite lovely friends and family.

Sometimes our interpretation of the meaning of a word and the theoretical meaning of that word are worlds apart. And that causes problems, when communication is not synchronized and opinions reflect our understanding of an adjective.

Consider the difference of complete and world-wide of the following sentences:

Ideas for Change

editorial guidelines... my blog needs one. Desperately. After 4 blog-posts in 3 different languages I have decided that the audience of readers that speak English, Swedish and Spanish.... and that would be intereste in hearing what I have to say... well... Manejamos lejos, acompañados por el cantante español Joaquín Sabina, juntos con Zara B y su pololo Hector V. Llegamos tardecito en la noche del viernes y la adicción que nos tiene a todos atrapados nos hizo perder 2 horas más de sueño, e-maileando, needisheando etc.

Antes de dormir pusimos el alarma a las 7.15 para “llegar a la hora y no parecer unos weones que se creen el cuento y que no escuchan a los otros”. Olvídate. A las 10.05 llegamos al evento y poco después subimos al escenario como unos weones que se creen el cuento y que

A veces cuando Needish salga en la prensa pienso; “Jeje, soy famoso en Chile”…

hasta que vuelva a aterrizar en la dolorosa realidad de cachar que solamente soy famoso entre la gente que lee Webprendedor, que toda la gente que lee Webprendedor está en mi celular, yo en los suyos y que yo también leo sus blogs.

Les sigo por twitter y me siguen a mí pero al final del día casi nunca nos vemos porque pasamos todo el día frente el computador construyendo servicios para nuestros hinchas…

304162964 people in the US right... then. When I looked a minute ago. Now they are probably more. Much more.

Coming from a really small country I tend to not really grasp the challenges of magnitude for a really big country. In a very giving discussion with an American friend I tried to compare our health-care system with the American... until she made me realize it was ridiculous.

Needish habla en el webprendedor de Conce el proximo Sabado... el tema: "buscando la buena onda"

Por fin hemos llegado a donde siempre quisimos estar. Juntos en un escenario. Sería mentira no confesar que para mi y el más peludo todavia Daniel Undurraga que Needish nos permite vivir momentos de ese sueño frustrado de Rock-star (en mi caso movie-star.)

Som svensk är man väl mer lämpad än någon att göra sig lustig över svenskar, baktala hela landet och framhålla svensk sinnes-misär. Runt andra svenskar, vill säga. Utomlands framhäver vi gärna oss som någon slags framtida utopi där jordgubbar obevattnat växer under sängen och höga politiker vaggar våra barn till sömns på dagis där man får betalt för att lämna in sina grannars barn.

Jag har vid otaliga tillfällen hört mig själv och andra mer eller mindre kära vänner bystigt och ofta framfusigt framhäva Sveriges totala praktfullhet vid nyfikna middagsbordhär på andra sidan jorden:
